Jacob Sheep

The Jacob Sheep breed boasts a rich heritage that traces back to ancient times. Originating in the Middle East, these sheep have captured the hearts of shepherds and wool enthusiasts for generations. Known for their distinctive black and white coats and strikingly unique horns, Jacob Sheep are truly a sight to behold.  They are renowned for their hardiness and adaptability. These rugged creatures have evolved to withstand diverse climates and terrains, making them an ideal choice for both experienced and novice shepherds.

Our Jacob Sheep are pure bred, and registered (or potentially registrable) with the (Jacob Sheep Breeders Association (JSBA).   We're members of the JSBA and the Livestock Conservancy, and work to help better the breed and raise awareness.  We often have adults or lambs for sale from time to time.  Take a look at our stock and see if there's anything that strikes your fancy:

Shetland Sheep

Shetland Sheep have a rich history dating back centuries, originating from the rugged and unforgiving landscapes of the Shetland Islands. These sheep have developed incredible adaptability and resilience over the years, making them an ideal choice for those seeking a low-maintenance and rewarding livestock experience.  Shetland Sheep are renowned for their ability to thrive in various environments. Their thick, dual-coated fleece provides excellent insulation, making them well-suited for both cold winters and hot summers.
